Blue Mountains Mosaic Collective | Grounded

27 Nov - 21 Dec

Official opening event at 2pm on Saturday 29 November.

Mosaic is a time-honoured art form, firmly grounded in history yet alive with relevance today. Unearthed fragments from ancient sites remind us of stories built with stones of the past. In Grounded, artists continue this tradition, creating works that speak of place, habitat, and home. Using materials drawn from the earth - stone, minerals, porcelain, metal and glass, they reveal mosaic’s enduring ability to ground us in memory, material, and meaning.

Participating artists: Pip Enever, Robyn FitzRoy, Gill Green, Kim Hallam, Caitlin Hepworth, Vicki Jackett, Andrea Ketterling, John Mathews, Galia Menin, Christine Stickley, Pat Watson, Linda Weiss, Xanthe Wells and Sally Zylberberg

Byron Kinnaird | Poems for Independence

27 Nov - 21 Dec

Official opening event at 2pm on Saturday 29 November.

Poems for Independence is a collection of new works from Byron Kinnaird exploring the possibilities of poetry as drawing. Two large-scale works anchor the show, accompanied by a suite of new experimental charcoal drawings, continuing Byron’s engagement with landscape, spirituality, architecture, iconography, and poetry. Working through an intuitive and reflective process, these new works move between deeply personal inner explorations and shared human experience.
