NAIDOC Week 2026
NAIDOC Week Community Celebration - Sunday 5th July
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It’s a great opportunity for our Blue Mountains community to learn about and reflect on First Nations Dharug and Gundungurra cultures, histories and participate in the celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
On Sunday 5th July, join us for a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, theatre performance, Blak Mountains Markets, family-friendly activities, sausage sizzle and more from 11am.
At 3pm, enjoy a free screening of the award-winning film, The Sapphires.
