PLAYREADING AFTERNOONS
Braemar Creative Programs
Come along for a read or a listen at our relaxed, free playreading sessions as part of Braemar Creative Programs at Braemar House, next door to Blue Mountains Theatre.
Session 1: Sunday 30 November, 4.00 - 5.00pm
Session 2: Sunday 7 December, 4.00 - 5.00pm
Join Kyle Walmsley, Cultural Development Coordinator and theatre practitioner, for two informal afternoons where the focus will be on fun, reading aloud, great writing and great chats about great plays.
Whether you're a seasoned theatre-lover, a beginner or simply curious about dramatic literature, this is a low-pressure environment to engage with new and classic works.
No prior experience is necessary, and there’s absolutely no pressure to perform. Parts will be assigned on the day ensuring everyone who wants to participate gets a chance to read, or you’re welcome to simply sit back and listen!
Plays to be announced soon.
Register your interest by emailing your name and session date to culturaldevelopment@bmcc.nsw.gov.au
Participants are encouraged to arrive early and explore the current exhibitions at Braemar Gallery.
